Abstract

Recent regulations insist replacing carbon black (CB) with silica in rubbers. Incorporating high dosages of silica in NR by solid-state mixing and of course with replacing some of the essential ingredients o comply with upcoming regulations in standard rubber formulations is really a paradox. Additionally, cradle-radle design demands reinvention and fieli vulluuks.

Abrasion resistance index (ARI) is crucial alongside dynamic properties especially considering energy aspects and heat build- up from the longevity view points for applications in new generation rubber products. Various naturally obtainable, sustainable, and cost-effective carbohydrates were incorporated during mastication, a green and multi-functional additive. Consequently, sorbitol as a blocking agent executed remarkable improvement in crucial properties, including ARI and other functional attributes.
